What we collect

We only collect the information we need. Depending on how you contact us, this may include:

  • your name and company name
  • contact details, including email address, phone number and postcode
  • the details of your enquiry, such as the product you are interested in, tank size, fuel type and site requirements
  • delivery and invoicing details if you place an order with us
  • records of our correspondence with you by email, phone or WhatsApp
  • technical information about your visit, such as your IP address and browser type, which our website host processes to keep the site secure and working
  • if you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use the website, such as the pages you visit, collected by Google Analytics

We do not take card payments through this website, and we never ask you to send passwords or payment card details by email.

How we use your information

  • to respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes
  • to design, manufacture, deliver and install the tanks and equipment you order
  • to provide aftercare, servicing and warranty support
  • to keep business and accounting records we are required to keep by law
  • to keep our website secure and, with your consent, to understand how it is used through Google Analytics

We will not use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Our lawful basis

We use your information because it is necessary to respond to your request and take steps before entering into a contract with you, to perform a contract with you, to comply with our legal obligations, or for our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business, where those interests are not outweighed by your rights.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We only share it where we need to, with:

  • service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host (Cloudflare, which also checks enquiry forms for spam) and the email service that delivers website enquiries to us
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics, if you accept analytics cookies
  • hauliers and installers, where needed to deliver and install your order
  • our professional advisers, such as accountants, where necessary
  • regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where the law requires it

Some of our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond and follow up, and normally no longer than two years if you do not become a customer. Customer and order records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax and accounting purposes, and warranty records for the length of the warranty.

Security

We have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. Please note that email is not a fully secure means of communication, so please do not send sensitive information by email.
