Thank you for choosing Fuel Safe UK. Every steel bunded fuel tank we build comes with a 20-year guarantee warranty as standard, so you can be assured of the highest level of customer care and product reliability for the life of your tank.
What the warranty covers
The 20-year guarantee covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Fuel Safe UK will repair or replace at no charge, products or parts of a tank that prove defective due to improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance of the product.
What the warranty does not cover
- Pumps and accessories, due to wear and tear. All pumps and tank accessories have a 12 months manufacturer’s warranty instead.
- Damage to the product resulting from negligence or malicious damage.
- Damage to the product resulting from unauthorised modifications, including any additional fill points, suctions, manways or structural changes to the tank. Cosmetic changes such as paintwork do not affect the guarantee.
Warranty conditions
- Warranty is valid only if the tank is maintained in line with our maintenance guidelines.
- Any sign of neglect, misuse, fuel contamination, or external damage may void the warranty.
- Fuel Safe reserves the right to inspect tanks before honouring any warranty claim.
Servicing your tank
To comply with this warranty your fuel tank must be serviced every 12 months (starting 12 months after your purchase date) by either ourselves or an alternative qualified professional. Official documentation must be provided if serviced by an alternative professional in the event of a claim. Keep a maintenance log of inspection dates, servicing and any remedial work, as proof of maintenance may be requested with a claim.
Our annual tank servicing covers everything the warranty needs.
