The brief
Uplands Retail approached us with a requirement for a 45,000L fuel tank equipped with dual pumps and K600 pulse meters to integrate with their Triscan fuel management system. We designed and built the tank within 2-3 weeks, ensuring it met their specifications. The tank was fitted with 90LPM pumps and flow meters to facilitate accurate fuel dispensing and tracking.
Summary
The result
To enhance safety and functionality, the tank was equipped with overfill prevention valves, an OCIO digital gauge, and high/low-level and bund alarms. To streamline installation, all components were pre-wired and connected to an isolation switch, reducing the setup time on-site.
Additionally, we sourced and supplied a 3,500L AdBlue tank with a pulse output, allowing it to connect seamlessly to their Triscan system for centralised monitoring and management. Both tanks were finished in a durable dark green RAL colour, complete with anti-corrosive priming to protect against rust and environmental wear.
Once delivered and installed at their site in Hemel Hempstead, the tanks became fully operational. Uplands Retail was extremely satisfied with the final result, praising the efficient build process, thoughtful design, and ease of integration.
