Project
TSML Limited approached us with a request for three 25,000 litre bunded fuel tanks to be installed across their sites. They specified the need for 70lpm transfer pumps and a recirculation unit to maintain fuel cleanliness within the tanks.
Summary
The recirculation system we implemented works by drawing fuel from the front of the tank through a magnetic conditioner. This process disrupts the formation of fuel bugs, breaking them down into smaller particles that can be easily filtered out through a two-stage water and particle filtration process. The cleaned fuel is then circulated back into the tank before any sludge can form, ensuring the fuel remains in optimal condition.
We completed the tanks with a grey finish, applying an undercoat of anti-corrosive primer for added durability. TSML Limited was extremely pleased with the final product, particularly the recirculation unit, which is a feature we recommend for all large bulk tanks.
